Marie Callender Should Have Been Arrested For Selling Pies! Have you had a Marie Callender pie lately, or ever? So this woman decided in the 1940’s she was gonna bake some pies in her home and
sell them. Did you know in 1948 she even sold her car to provide the means to start her bonafide pie business. This lady had some real nerve, I mean come on, who did she think she was up in South
Dakota acting like she was gonna run a business out of her home, and baking pies no less. You hear these kinds of stories all the time right, I am gonna start a business and be big time, and I will be
successful. I gotta tell ya, Marie Callender should have been arrested for selling pies, and out of her home for goodness sake.
Delivery
She decides she needs these pies delivered. I know, she sold her car right, not a real bright lady. So she has her son start delivering these pies on his
bicycle. He would pedal along and sell to anyone who would by them. He continued to do this for some time as she continued to bake her pies. Sounds like her son was a good kid. 
Boom!
It happened! This lady who decided when she was a little girl that families are good together when they can share a good meal, was selling pies out of her home. Let me tell ya, if you have not had one
of these pies and she has many recipes, go get in the car and run to the grocery store and get you one of these pies, they are stupid good! I have no other way to describe it! She has so many to choose
from also, and her recipes were from scratch back then. I love the chocolate satin pie!! The crust is so good, and flaky. Then you have the whip cream that leads into the creamiest chocolate centers
you will ever taste. Marie Callender’s pies today are found in just about every grocery store in America as her family has kept on the tradition that she started. She also offers dinners, bowls, and pot
pies to name a few. Every time my wife brings one of these home, and she just did, and yes, it was the chocolate satin. I say that woman needs to be arrested for this goodness, cause you know she is gonna get more of my money in the future. I just love her pies and other products.
