If this is truly your passion, going this route will not even deter you. Take the time to watch, listen, and learn every aspect of the tree business. Watch how the owners get business, how they get contracts, and how they are with customers. Hone your craft, cutting trees is a skill, be great at it! Give yourself enough time to earn a decent income while training, save your money, because you are going to need it if you want to start your own business one day. Soon the city, the county, the state, and yes your neighbors are going to know about your tree cutting business. The time you put in training went by so fast because you love this work. When you love a job so much and have a deep passion for it also, people see this and will want to hire you. Walk into the nearest Insurance company In your town and tell them you need some business insurance. They will provide you with the right coverage for your particular business. They will ask you questions as to how many employees do you have, and so on.
Marketing
Lastly, as mentioned earlier in this article, I want you to put in place a good marketing strategy. People need to find your business, and find you first and quickly. The first thing people do these days is a google search for a product or service they desire. I want your business to be in those search results. Go to google my business and set up a business page for your tree service. This will allow your business to be found in search results and on google maps. Definitely get some business cards made up.
